Hiram manipulated the whole town into believing Fangs Fogerty killed Midge Klump convinced Archie to revive the Red Circle (now the Dark Circle), only to have them turn on Archie and go after South Siders and basically reignited Riverdale's civil war. For the majority of the episode, we followed three main plotlines: Betty teamed up with Cheryl to dig into her suspicions that Hal is the Black Hood. But no, it seems Hal is still suspect numero uno and going after my girl Cheryl-which is, frankly, not okay.īut let's backtrack for a minute. I was honestly ready to throw in the towel on this whole Black Hood thing when the powers that be tried to convince us Hal kept a children's book as a gift for his 16-year-old daughter. I've got to hand it to Riverdale-"Shadow of a Doubt" is the perfect title for its latest episode, as I'm beginning to question my own sanity.
